On 16th September 2020, Vision Development Foundation under the leadership of Momodou Turo Darboe donated D100,000 to officers of the Gambia Immigration Department (GID) working at the border post to purchase fuel for their patrol vehicles and aid in their efforts at tackling illegal immigration during this period of the COVID-19 pandemic.
VDF also gave other items that included; 100 professional facemasks, 100 bags of rice and 100 (10kg) bags of sugar. Saihou Fofana, the PRO of Vision Development Foundation, on behalf of the CEO Momodou Turo Darboe, handed over the cheque and other items to the GID.
