The vision development foundation undet the leadership of MR MODOU TURO DARBOE has over the years served the Gambia and her citizens in various humanitarian services. The primary objective of our humanitarian aid intervention is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity. VDF provides assistance for community garden projects, self-help enterprises and community businesses as well as provide tools and machinery such as milling machines to reduce manual labour and drudgery in local communities.

VDF supports institutions and individuals who pursue novel causes and pathways that have the potential to solve community-based problems. We provide tuition, scholarships and educational materials for these reasons.
Almost seventy different communities, organizations and institutions across the country benefits from rice and sugar from the vision development foundation in their annual Ramadan sugar and rice gifts across the country .
Vision Development Foundation is providing medical assistance in the form of funding surgical camps, provision of equipment, building facilities and sponsoring medical trips for complicated surgeries abroad.
The vision development foundation under the leadership Mr Modou Turo Darboe constructs nco mess, guard room and water borehole at the fajara barracks which has been a problem for the army since 1996.
