with your help

We’ve funded 15+ water projects for various communities and institutions in the Gambia

The vision development foundation undet the leadership of MR MODOU TURO DARBOE has over the years served the Gambia and her citizens in various humanitarian services. The primary objective of our humanitarian aid intervention is to save lives, alleviate suffering, and maintain human dignity. VDF provides assistance for community garden projects, self-help enterprises and community businesses as well as provide tools and machinery such as milling machines to reduce manual labour and drudgery in local communities.

our service

what we do

We encourage people with great ideas to come forward with their ideas for collaboration. We look forward to meeting you if you have these personality characteristics of a good social entrepreneur.

education support

VDF supports institutions and individuals who pursue novel causes and pathways that have the potential to solve community-based problems. We provide tuition, scholarships and educational materials for these reasons. Our Entrepreneurship support seeks to provide students and other individuals with the knowledge, skills and motivation to encourage entrepreneurial success in a variety of settings.

healthcare services

VDF endeavors to compliment governments efforts in responding to challenge of the ever-growing Gambian population and its pressure on the provision of adequate healthcare services

disaster response & relief

We see no religion, political and an ethnic affiliation whenever we extend a helping hand. Our Humanitarian aid service extends to the provision of material or logistical assistance to humanitarian agencies and government institutions typically in response to humanitarian crises including natural disasters and man-made ones.

women & youth empowerment

The VDF has over the years provide farm inputs and implements to scores of farmers, most of whom are women. Life for rural women isn’t easy. Women don’t have the same rights as men and often have to juggle domestic duties and agricultural work – sowing, weeding and harvesting crops, but also making food for their families and collecting firewood and water.
